Clear to Engage is a lean acceleration program for startups, designed to bring innovative businesses to investor readiness, through a combination of support actions.
C2E believes that startups must be exposed as early as possible to validation, coming from mentors, external collaborators as well as potential customers. Candidate projects are gathered through periodic startup contests targeting entrepreneurs or “wannabe” entrepreneurs seeking support on challanges including: validating their venture concept, defining an effective execution plan, refining their business model and consolidating an “investor ready” business plan.
Clear To Engage project was originally developed in 2012, in collaboration with IBAN – Italian Business Angels Network, with the “Venture creation” course of the University of Bologna (Faculty of Economics, A.Y. 2012/2013), the International MBA on Green and Sustainable Businesses of Alma Graduate School and with TOP-IX Torino-Piemonte internet exchange.
Clear To Engage will not provide your project with direct financial support. Instead, it aims at supporting you to identify which fund raising objectives are reasonable to pursue in your case, how to reach them and what timing is strategic for your project. If your venture is early stage, instead, and you still haven’t put enough sweat on your idea, this is your occasion to evaluate its potential, leveraging the contribution of external collaborators and to wrap up a picture of the roadmap lying ahead. Project development status is not paramount to apply for Clear To Engage. Commitment to your own project is the only key requirement.
